 Now through the end of May, Moe’s Southwest Grill customers have an opportunity to extend warmth and appreciation to our military troops serving overseas, thanks to “Help on the Home Front,” a joint initiative with the Greater Jacksonville Area USO and Moe's. The Help on the Home Front campaign provides troops with USO care packages (or “Goodie Boxes,” as the troops affectionately call them). The USO Care Packages are filled with the troops’ most-requested items, including phone cards, protein bars, snacks, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, books, toiletries and other products.
“Our goal is to raise the funds to provide a USO Care Package for every north Florida-based troop serving overseas,” says Brad Chasteen, President and CEO of Welcome to Moe’s, Inc. “We are thrilled and honored to have a role in demonstrating our community’s appreciation for the courage and sacrifice of our local military.”
Here's how you can help...
- Visit any area Moe’s Southwest Grill and donate $12.50 for the shipment of a USO Care Package. Care packages will be on display and donors can include a personal note to the military recipient.
- Visit any area Moe’s and donate $1 toward the purchase of a USO Care Package. Moe’s will match the customer’s donation with an additional $1.
Moe’s will give each in-store donor a Thank You Moe Buck, good for $1 off their next food purchase at any Jacksonville-area Moe’s Southwest Grill. Moe’s will also provide each in-store donor with a USO Help on the Home Front flag that can be signed and will be displayed in the store to acknowledge their contribution and support of our military.
